YOXA

The new formulation of YOXA OROSOLUBLE is a powder designed to dissolve directly on the tongue. This allows for easier, faster, and more pleasant administration for the patient, compared to the previous granule formulation which required water and time for suspension dissolution.

Due to frequent antibiotic treatments from an early age and intestinal problems caused by the pathology itself, patients with cystic fibrosis have a less diverse gut microbiota.

In this context, Oxalobacter formigenes, a microorganism exclusively responsible for oxalate metabolism, is often absent. Consequently, patients face a 70 times higher risk than healthy subjects of developing calcium oxalate kidney stones. Oxalic acid also has a strong pro-inflammatory effect in the intestine.

Yoxa, granules in sachets, is a symbiotic supplement based on live lactic ferments, formulated to compensate for the lack of Oxalobacter formigenes.

Yoxa contains 5 different bacterial strains, all selected for their particular ability to metabolize oxalates and for their intrinsic anti-inflammatory action.

This product should be used under medical supervision.

Recommended daily dose:
2 sticks per day, to dissolve under the tongue.
