NATURAL BETA CAROTENE 15MG

Beta-carotene is one of the most important phytopigments in human nutrition and is widespread in the plant world. It belongs to the carotene family and is derived from plant sources. Beta-carotene is a precursor of vitamin A and is therefore also referred to as pro-vitamin A. The conversion of beta-carotene into vitamin A takes place in the liver, kidneys, and intestinal mucosa.

Lamberts Natural Beta-Carotene is extracted from Dunaliella salina in its natural form. These pink microalgae, which also contain small amounts of mixed carotenoids, live on the surface of salt lakes. The cultivation of this organism in high-salinity water prevents contamination by harmful microorganisms.
