N-acetylcysteine (NAC) is an acetylated form of the amino acid L-cysteine. This NAC is obtained through a natural biofermentation process from plant and mineral substrates, making it a 100% natural, vegan and bio-sourced product, free from chemical-synthesis residues and any ingredient of animal origin.

It is of ultra-pure pharmaceutical grade, with a guaranteed concentration above 99% verified by high-performance liquid chromatography (HPLC). Systematic analyses guarantee the absence of chemical and microbiological contaminants and of heavy metals.

The N-acetylcysteine form has the advantage of being more stable and less sensitive to oxidation than L-cysteine. To preserve this stability, the powder is packaged on its own, without excipient, in plant-based pullulan capsules that provide a barrier against moisture and oxygen. Packaging takes place in France, at the Dynveo laboratory in Teyran (34).

Recommended daily dose:

1 to 2 capsules per day, to be swallowed with a large glass of water, away from meals, preferably in the morning and/or early afternoon. As a 6 to 12 week course, to be repeated after a break of a few weeks as needed.

Storage and usage advice:

·      For adults only. Not recommended for those under 18 years of age.

·      No known contraindication associated with this product.

·      Pregnant or breastfeeding women: supplementation is possible, but seeking the advice of a healthcare professional beforehand is recommended.

·      No known interactions with other substances. However, it is not advisable to consume activated charcoal at the same time as NAC, as some studies have shown a reduction in its bioavailability.

·      Inform your doctor and/or pharmacist if taking medication concurrently.

·      Keep out of reach of children.

·      Do not exceed the recommended daily dose.

·      Store in a cool, dry place, away from light.
