Magnesium is one of the body's most heavily called-upon minerals, acting as a cofactor in a very large number of enzymatic reactions. It is provided here as malate: an organic salt in which magnesium is bound to malic acid, a fruit acid naturally found in apples.

The contributions of magnesium are recognized by European regulation: it contributes to normal muscle function, a reduction of tiredness and fatigue, electrolyte balance, normal energy-yielding metabolism, normal functioning of the nervous system and normal psychological function (authorized claims, Regulation (EU) No 432/2012). With 81mg of elemental magnesium per capsule — 21% of the nutrient reference values — the product fully meets the conditions of use of these claims.

The formula is completed with vitamin B6 in its active form, pyridoxal-5'-phosphate (P5P), directly usable by enzymes without prior conversion.
