Lutein comes from the Latin word luthus, meaning yellow. Lutein, along with zeaxanthin, belongs to the carotenoids group, a group of yellow to reddish pigments. In the diet, lutein and zeaxanthin can be found in dark green leafy vegetables, such as spinach, endive, kale, and broccoli.

Note: Food supplements should not be used as a substitute for a balanced and varied diet.

Ingredients:
For 1 capsule:

• Lutein 20 mg

• Zeaxanthin 1,000 micrograms

• Sunflower oil, bovine gelatin (capsule), lutein concentrate, thickener (glycerine; capsule), stabilizer (white beeswax).

Recommended Daily Intake:
1 capsule per day
