These algae oil capsules contain 150 mg of EPA and 100 mg of DHA per capsule in their natural triglyceride form. This means the fatty acid chains remain intact — unlike some algae oils converted into ethyl esters through chemical processing.
While this process increases omega-3 concentration, it replaces the natural triglyceride structure with ethanol, forming ethyl esters.

The TOTOX value (total oxidation value) measures the degree of oxidation in fatty acids. This is not related to spoilage but rather to the oil’s age — the higher the value, the older the oil.
The European guideline sets a maximum TOTOX value of 26. Our algae oil has a TOTOX value below 6.
Sensitivity to oxidation varies among individuals — some may experience no issues even with higher TOTOX values, while others might experience mild reflux even at low values.
