Ingredients:
Ferric polysaccharide complex (equivalent to 150 mg of Fe³⁺), wheat starch (soft wheat), gelatin, magnesium stearate, red iron oxide (E 172), titanium dioxide (E 171).
Allergen: contains gluten (wheat starch), at a very low level (≤ 11.3 µg of gluten per capsule). Not recommended in case of wheat allergy.
Recommended daily dose:
Usual dosage for adults: 1 capsule per day, taken ½ hour before a meal or away from meals.
If needed, the dosage may be increased to a maximum of 2 capsules per day, split over 2 intakes.
Pregnant women: doses of 40 to 100 mg of iron per day are recognised as effective in preventing deficiency. Breastfeeding women: 10 mg of iron per day.
Not recommended for children under 12 years of age.
Storage and usage advice:
· Prescription-only medicine: to be used in accordance with your doctor's advice.
· Do not exceed the recommended dose.
· Calcium-rich foods and dairy products reduce iron absorption: take away from meals and dairy products.
· Do not combine with other iron-based medicines; leave at least 2 hours between Ferricure and certain medicines (antibiotics, thyroid treatments, antacids, etc.).
· Inform your doctor and/or pharmacist in case of simultaneous use of medicines.
· Keep out of the sight and reach of children.
· Store in the original packaging, protected from light and moisture, at a temperature not exceeding 30 °C.
